JUST TWO MOMS
Before I was a mom I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a mom I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and thoughts.
I slept all night.
Before I was a mom I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew that I would love being a mom.

Molly
I am a wife and mother to an adorable seven year old girl who is a Littlest Pet Shop and American Girl Doll aficionado. I used to live and breathe the business world but I traded in my passion for climbing the corporate ladder for becoming a full time researcher on how to recover Annie.
My ups and downs with Annie have made me a better person. I am now much more focused on the things that truly matter in life. Life really is more about the journey than the destination.
Leah
I used to be a Flight Attendant and traveled the world. Met my husband, quit flying, got married, became a teacher, had two children and struggled to find an equal balance between family and work. Family won.
Thought I finally had life figured out until the stork delivered an unexpected surprise, Brody. Life changed.
Fast forward to present. I am a stay at home mom of three very active boys - two teenagers and a nine year old. Normal high school chaos, lacrosse, and Brody rule our house. A life of leisure and bon-bon eating is unheard of, especially after starting this website and blog.
